Chelsea Eyes Aston Villa Star Morgan Rogers in Ambitious Player Swap Deal

Chelsea is highly interested in signing Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers this summer. The Blues are prepared to offer the Birmingham club a player swap deal along with a cash adjustment to lower the fee for the 22-year-old midfielder, according to Caught Offside.

As reported, Aston Villa is asking for £65-70 million (€74.7-80.5 million) for the England international. Chelsea plans to include Benoît Badiashile, Trevoh Chalobah, and Tosin Adarabioyo in the trade for Rogers.

Last season, the Aston Villa midfielder participated in 54 matches across all competitions, contributing 14 goals and 15 assists. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2030. According to data from Transfermarkt, his market value stands at €55 million.
