Content Support for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Ends with the Release of Final DLC

Since February of this year, the Czech studio Warhorse has been delighting its audience with the active development of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Following the extremely successful launch of the base game, several major updates, a hardcore mode, an official mod editor, and two narrative expansions were released. As the release of the final third DLC approaches, the developers have confirmed that content support for the game will soon come to a close.

Community manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, better known by his alias Sir Tobi, specifically addressed the final stage. He urged gamers to temper their expectations and not to anticipate any “secret DLC,” as after the release of the Mysteria Ecclesiae expansion on November 11, the studio will shift focus to developing their next game.

Regarding Kingdom Come, Zwilling did not dismiss the possibility that the studio might return to its first and most recognizable franchise in the future. It’s worth noting that before the launch of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, senior designer Warhorse Prokop Jirsa stated that the sequel would conclude the story of Indrzhih. In essence, that is indeed what transpired; however, the developers still left an opening for a potential threequel, giving fans something to look forward to.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, featuring Russian text localization. As of today, the game boasts a “very positive” rating of 94% based on over 120,000 reviews in Valve’s store.
