CSKA Forward Sekou Koita Nears Move to Turkish Club Gençlerbirliği, Reports Journalist Ozbudak

The Turkish football club Gençlerbirliği is reportedly interested in CSKA Moscow forward Sekou Koita. This was announced by journalist Reşat Can Özbudak on his social media page X.

According to the source, the Ankara-based club has come to an agreement with the striker, and it is said that the player has started the visa application process.

In the previous season, the 25-year-old forward appeared in 35 matches for CSKA across all competitions, scoring five goals and providing three assists. During the 2025/2026 season, Koita played in five matches and registered one assist. As per information available on the Transfermarkt website, the player’s market value is €3.50 million.
