Cyberpunk 2077s First Act Length Is Just Right, Says Sequel Director

Some players of Cyberpunk 2077 have expressed that the game’s beginning feels rushed, suggesting that a significant portion of the plot has been omitted. However, creative director of Cyberpunk 2, Igor Sarzyński, disagrees with this viewpoint.

In a post on the social media platform Bluesky, he argued that expanding the first act would not benefit the game. He provided the following reasoning:

Additionally, a member of CD Projekt RED refuted a fan theory suggesting that the developers had trimmed a substantial portion of the introduction down to a montage. According to Sarzyński, what players see was always intended to be presented in this way.
