The president of the UFC, Dana White, spoke highly of the 31-year-old newly-crowned and unbeaten UFC middleweight champion, Chechen fighter Khamzat Chimaev.

«On the night of his debut in the league, when he expressed his desire to fight the following weekend, Khamzat’s career skyrocketed. His popularity is remarkable; people adore him. Now, as he competes again in the U.S., he’s receiving even more support, especially in Chicago—it’s clear that he is greatly loved here,» White stated at the post-fight press conference after UFC 319.
