Detroit: Become Human Sets New Milestone with Over 15 Million Copies Sold

This year, the acclaimed game Detroit: Become Human is celebrating its eighth anniversary. Just a few months before this milestone, the developers at Quantic Dream took the opportunity to showcase another achievement—since its release, sales of «Detroit» have surpassed 15 million copies. As a result, the title has once again secured its position as the most successful game from the studio.

Currently, the studio is hard at work on two projects—the action-strategy game Spellcasters Chronicles, which was announced in October, and the highly anticipated Star Wars Eclipse. As of now, neither of these titles has a confirmed release date.

In the meantime, fans of Quantic Dream might want to pay attention to the studio Republic Games, founded by the lead writer of Detroit: Become Human, Adam Williams. Their debut project will be a role-playing game set in a dark fantasy world, which is also being developed with the involvement of Chris Avellone.
