Edmonton Oilers Revamps Coaching Staff with New Appointments and Contract Extensions

The Edmonton Oilers have announced on their official website the addition of **Paul MacFarland, Peter Aubry**, and **Connor Allen** to their coaching staff. At 39 years old, MacFarland will join the Oilers as an assistant coach after leading the Calgary Hitmen in the Western Hockey League last season. He has previous NHL experience as an assistant coach with the Florida Panthers, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Seattle Kraken.

Peter Aubry, aged 48, has spent the past two years as an assistant coach with the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks (NCAA). He will come on board with Edmonton as the goaltending coach, having held a similar position with the Chicago Blackhawks in the past.

Connor Allen is 35 years old and will take on the role of skills development coach with the Oilers. He does not have prior experience in the NHL.

Additionally, the club has extended the contracts of assistant coach Mark Stuart and video coach Noah Segall.
