Egor Dyomin Shares Insights on the Differences in Game Preparation Between NCAA and NBA

A 19-year-old Russian point guard for the Brooklyn Nets, **Egor Dyomin**, shared his thoughts on preparing for games in both the NCAA and the NBA.

**— How challenging do you find it to adapt to this format? Did you experience something similar while playing in the NCAA? Was the level of commitment comparable, or was it more manageable?**
— I’ve heard some wild stories about people having no days off, with five-hour practices before and after games; it’s truly intense. However, since our coach had an NBA background, they tried to implement as much of the NBA system as possible in college. So, while it was somewhat similar, there weren’t as many games and the workload before or after games was lighter. Everything felt a bit shorter and faster, including the games themselves in college. There were also more regular practice sessions where we’d just come in, train, and then head home, — Egor explained on the YouTube channel First & Red.
