In her opening match, she defeated Romanian tennis player **Andreea Prisăcaru** with a score of 6-3, 6-3.

The match lasted for 1 hour and 35 minutes, during which Avanesyan scored three aces and made three double faults, converting four of the eight break points she earned. Prisăcaru managed to hit four aces, committed one double fault, and converted two out of six break points.
