The creators of  The Relic: First Guardian from the South Korean studio Project Cloud Games have chosen an intriguing release date for their latest project. This dark role-playing fantasy infused with soulslike elements is set to captivate players on May 26, 2026. Accompanying the announcement is a brief trailer.

In the world of The Relic: First Guardian, an abyss has devoured everything, and the protagonist must gather shards of a powerful relic to restore the once-flourishing realm of Asiltus. Players will join the hero in exploring a semi-open world, solving puzzles, and battling foes.

As stated by the creative director of Project Cloud Games, Inhyuk Park, in a PlayStation blog post, the game’s narrative revolves around the stories of those who have vanished. Gamers will frequently encounter fragments of other people’s tales, whether through snippets of letters or scratches on crumbling walls that contain deep tragedies.
