ESRB Assigns Age Rating for Xbox Version of Silent Hill 2 Remake

The remake of Silent Hill 2 was released on PC and PlayStation 5 just over a year ago. It seems that the exclusive period for consoles is nearing its end, as the ESRB rating organization has assigned a rating to the horror title for Xbox Series.

Currently, publisher Konami and developers from Bloober Team are keeping quiet. However, it’s reasonable to assume that an announcement for the remake on this new platform is imminent.

For reference, the updated Silent Hill 2 received positive feedback from both critics (it boasts a score of 86 on Metacritic) and players alike, with a 95% positive rating on Steam. Our review at StopGame.ru awarded the game a “Stunning” rating. The sales figures for Silent Hill 2 have exceeded 2.5 million copies.
