Moreover, this year, the casual game Fallout Shelter is also celebrating its 10th anniversary, and the developers at Bethesda are preparing what they describe as «the biggest update in the game’s history.»

Content support for Shelter will shift to a seasonal model. Each season will feature its own theme and a battle pass with challenges and time-limited rewards.

Towards the end of the presentation, Bethesda revealed the release date for the global update Burning Springs for Fallout 76 — new content will debut in the game on December 2, just a couple of weeks before the premiere of the second season of the «Fallout» series by Amazon.

In Burning Springs, players will explore a new desert biome in Ohio, where they will encounter the so-called «Rust King» — an intelligent super mutant leading a local gang of raiders.

A key figure in this expansion will be the fan-favorite Ghoul, played by Walton Goggins from the series, who takes on the role of a bounty hunter.

Additionally, the developers announced that by early 2026, Fallout 76 will be getting standalone versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

As for the «Fallout» series, the second season is set to premiere on December 17 and will explore the fate of New Vegas following the events of the game.
