Figma и Google: Новый уровень интеграции с AI-функциями Gemini Translation: Figma and Google: A New Level of Integration with AI Features of Gemini

The design platform Figma has announced a partnership with Google to integrate new artificial intelligence-based features.

Previously, the platform had already launched its own AI tools for application creation. Now, it will incorporate several Gemini models to meet the evolving needs of product designers and their teams.

As part of this collaboration, Figma will introduce Gemini 2.5 Flash, Gemini 2.0, and Imagen 4.

Gemini 2.5 Flash will be employed for image editing and generation. This will enable the 13 million active users on the platform to create AI-generated illustrations using text prompts and make modifications to them every month.

The company claims that this innovation will enhance workflow efficiency, as users reported a 50% reduction in latency for the Make Image feature during testing.

The announcement of this partnership coincided with the release of Gemini Enterprise — Google’s AI-based corporate platform aimed at integrating AI into operational processes.

This solution will allow users to interact with company documents, data, and applications in a conversational format. Developers will be able to create and deploy AI agents or utilize existing solutions.

Google highlighted that 65% of Google Cloud customers are already utilizing its AI-based products. Additionally, the company announced new partnerships with GAP, Gordon Foods, Klarna, Macquarie Bank, Melexis, Mercedes, Signal Iduna, Valiuz, and Virgin Voyages. They join the ranks of Banco BV, Behr, Box, DBS Bank, Deloitte, Deutsche Telekom, FairPrice Group, the U.S. Department of Energy, and others using Gemini.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that in October, OpenAI introduced a new feature that allows users to create applications directly within ChatGPT. Users can now interact directly with services like Booking.com, Expedia, Spotify, Figma, Coursera, Zillow, Canva, and others.
