Friends Unite Against Demons in the New Gameplay Trailer for the Painkiller Reboot

A couple of weeks prior to the release of the new  Painkiller, the developers at Anshar Studios unveiled a new trailer showcasing the cooperative gameplay.

“Join forces against the demonic legions and carve your path with blood. Unspeakable horrors await, so chain together your kills, rack up an enormous score, and remember: friendship is eternal… if you manage to survive, that is,” the trailer’s description reads.

As has been noted multiple times, in the upcoming Painkiller, players will control various sinners who have committed transgressions against Heaven. Set against a backdrop of global cataclysm, these «heroes» find an opportunity to redeem themselves—by banding together to battle the army of the fallen angel Azazel in Purgatory.

Painkiller is set to launch on October 21 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, featuring a Russian text localization.
