Housemarque Delays Saros Launch to April 30, Pre-Orders Now Available

Sony and Housemarque have shared some exciting updates. Firstly, a new trailer was unveiled during The Game Awards, offering insights into the storyline and gameplay of the upcoming game, Saros. Secondly, the release of the action game has been postponed by almost a month. Lastly, pre-orders for the game have officially opened.

The trailer for Saros features Rahul Kohli as the main character, alongside other notable actors like Jane Perry, who voiced Selene from Returnal, Ben Prendergast, known for his role as Tyr in God of War: Ragnarök, David DeSantos from «In the Name of the Wolf,» Adriyan Rae as Hazel in South of Midnight, and Shunori Ramanathan from «Duplicate.»

As for pre-orders, players can now choose between two editions: a standard version and a Digital Deluxe edition. Those who opt for the latter will gain early access to the game, being able to play 48 hours ahead of the official launch. Additionally, they will receive three armor sets inspired by other PlayStation titles, including Returnal, God of War, and Ghost of Yōtei. Pre-ordering any edition will grant access to the armor set «Dawn of the Shore.»

Instead of the initially planned release on March 20, Saros will now debut on April 30, exclusively for PlayStation 5. The story involves a mysterious Eclipse that drives the inhabitants of the planet Carcosa to madness. The protagonist, Arjun Devradj, will stop at nothing to uncover the truth behind his questions. Players can expect high-tech weaponry, dynamic evasion techniques, and a «Second Chance» mechanic that revives the character after their first death.
