Isometric RPG Rue Valley Launches with Mostly Positive Reviews on Steam

Recently, the team at the Serbian studio **Emotion Spark**, with the support of the **Owlcat Games** publishing division, has officially launched their debut project, an intriguing story-driven isometric RPG titled **Rue Valley**. Though the game has garnered a modest number of reviews so far, the feedback is predominantly «mostly positive,» leading to a rating of 76% on **Steam** at the time of this article’s publication.

Players have praised the game’s visuals and its setting, yet have pointed out some plot inconsistencies and a tedious game design. Notably, the storyline of **Rue Valley** draws inspiration from the concept of «Groundhog Day,» where players find themselves in a small town where the residents are stuck reliving the same day over and over again. Throughout their journey, the main character interacts with the locals and seeks a way to escape the time loop, which in turn shapes their personal qualities.

**Kitty**, a reviewer, rated it «thumbs down.»

**Rue Valley** is available on PC (via **Steam**, **GOG**, and **Epic Games Store**), as well as on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch, featuring a Russian text localization. Before making a purchase, players can still try out the demo version.
