Japanese Developers Crown Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 as Game of the Year

For 11 consecutive years, Famitsu magazine has been asking Japanese developers to nominate the best game of the year, awarding the winner with the title of «Super Popular Game.» In 2025, the honor went to  Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

It’s worth noting that previous recipients of the «Super Popular Game» title include Marvel’s Spider-Man, Death Stranding, Elden Ring, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
