Konami Plans Annual Silent Hill Releases: A New Chapter in Horror Gaming

Quite some time ago, Konami established agreements with external teams, ensuring a steady stream of releases for Silent Hill. In a discussion with the Japanese outlet Famitsu, series producer Motoi Okamoto mentioned that the company aims to release a new Silent Hill title annually.

So far, Konami has been successful in sticking to this plan: the remake of Silent Hill 2 by Bloober Team was launched in October 2024, and Silent Hill f from NeoBards Entertainment is set to release in September 2025. Next in line are Townfall from Screen Burn and a remake of the original Silent Hill by Bloober Team. However, according to the producer, there are also unannounced titles in the works.

Presently, there are no official release dates for either Townfall (though a leaked date has surfaced),

nor for the updated Silent Hill. However, based on the producer’s statements, they could potentially be released in 2026 and 2027, respectively, unless Konami has some surprises up their sleeves.
