Leaked: Yakuza Kiwami 3 Set for Announcement at RGG Summit Next Week

Just a week before the highly anticipated presentation of the RGG Summit 2025, online users stumbled upon a reference to the yet-to-be-announced Yakuza Kiwami 3 on the official website of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio.

This leak (which was quickly removed) left no doubt that the developers plan to announce a full remake of Yakuza 3 during the upcoming stream. It’s worth noting that last year, the current head of the studio, Masayoshi Yokoyama, had stated that he would eventually get to Kiwami 3, and it seems that time has now arrived.

The RGG Summit has a tradition of revealing details about the studio’s ongoing projects. Whether Kiwami 3 will be the sole major announcement remains uncertain. In last year’s similar event, the developers introduced Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, the Switch version of Yakuza: Kiwami, and a trailer for the unsuccessful series from Amazon.

The RGG Summit 2025 will kick off on September 24 at 06:00 Moscow time. The exact duration of the stream has not yet been disclosed.
