Lionsgate Set to Unveil AAA Game Adaptation of John Wick Soon

The “John Wick” franchise has long established itself as one of the most recognizable in Hollywood, thanks to its spectacular action and the charismatic lead portrayal by Keanu Reeves. Fans have eagerly anticipated a full-fledged video game adaptation featuring the hitman—now their wish is set to come true.

During a recent report, Lionsgate announced that the head of the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, Adam Fogelson, confirmed the studio is currently working on a high-budget AAA game centered around the long-haired assassin, with an official announcement expected soon.

This new game is anticipated to be far more expansive and complex than the tactical John Wick Hex. We’re looking at a full-scale AAA title with a substantial budget, likely featuring an original storyline. The prospect is further bolstered by Keanu Reeves’ prior involvement in video games, having successfully contributed to the character of Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077.

According to Fogelson, Lionsgate recognizes the increasing interest in its franchises from the gaming industry and is actively pursuing development in this area. In addition to “John Wick”, the studio is also planning projects related to “Saw” and other series. More details are promised to be revealed very soon.
