Little Bat Games Unveils Better Than Us: A Stealth Adventure Set in a Climate-Dystopian Future

Last year, the studio **Little Bat Games** made waves with their impressive visual novel, [**Vampire Therapist**](https://example.com/game/vampire_therapist), which garnered nominations for various awards. Now, the team has unveiled another narrative-driven game titled [**Better Than Us**](https://example.com/game/better_than_us).

The setting is the year 2200. The super-rich have pushed the world into a climate apocalypse and managed to escape to the floating cities they constructed. The wealthy have monopolized AI development, ensuring that machines serve only their interests. The protagonist infiltrates extravagant parties, stealing the most valuable possessions of the affluent—their expensive trinkets.

Your tools will not include stealth or violence, but rather the art of deception. While lying and manipulating, it’s crucial to avoid entangling yourself in your own web of falsehoods: a single inconsistency or forgotten detail can expose you.

The creators of **Better Than Us** drew inspiration from Alexandre Dumas’s novel **»The Count of Monte Cristo,»** the works of **Terry Pratchett**, the series **»Inventing Anna,»** as well as from games like [**Thief: The Dark Project**](https://example.com/game/thief_the_dark_project) and [**Pentiment**](https://example.com/game/pentiment), not to mention five-star hotels in OPEC countries. To portray the consequences of staggering social inequality, the developers consulted with university historians.

**Better Than Us** is set to release in 2026 on PC ([Steam](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3954390/Better_Than_Us/)). No Russian localization has been announced.
