Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra Release Delayed Indefinitely Amid Ongoing Development Challenges

The company Skydance New Media has once again postponed the release of its action-adventure game Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra. The launch was previously slated for early 2026 but has now been pushed back indefinitely.

This delay comes as no surprise, especially considering that since its announcement, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra has lacked a comprehensive gameplay demonstration or even a list of target platforms. To recap, the game tells the story of Captain America and Black Panther during World War II. The heroes team up against Hydra in occupied France as well as in Wakanda. In addition to the superheroes, players will also control two other characters: U.S. Army sniper Gabriel Jones and Wakandan spy Nanali.

It remains unclear when the developers plan to officially unveil gameplay. Currently, gamers are left to settle for screenshots and a minor leak from MP1st.
