Mixed Feelings: Mor Reacts to Carcedos Appointment as Spartak Head Coach

Former defender of Spartak, **Eduard Mor**, shared his thoughts on the appointment of Spanish coach **Juan Carlos Carcedo** as the head coach of the red and whites. The announcement regarding the contract with the former manager of Cypriot side Paphos was made on Monday, January 5th.

«I can’t say that I’m thrilled because Carcedo lacks significant experience as a head coach. Personally, I believe that Spartak should be led by a Russian specialist. It’s very important for a Russian coach to have this as the pinnacle of their career. If our specialist takes charge at Spartak, he will give his all,» Mor stated during a broadcast on Match TV.

Carcedo’s contract with Spartak is set to run until the summer of 2028. He takes over the position from Russian coach Vadim Romanov.
