Mobile Version of Tomb Raider Set for Release in February 2026, Featuring Full Campaign and Enhanced Controls

The studio Feral Interactive has officially announced the release date for the 2013 edition of Tomb Raider on mobile platforms. The game will launch for both iOS and Android on February 12, 2026, priced at $19.99 or €15.99.

The mobile version will feature the entire storyline, complete with all the puzzles, battles, and upgrade elements found in the original release. It will also include all types of weapons and skills, along with 12 downloadable content packs, which will add enhancements, costumes, and a bonus tomb challenge, all available for free.

Developers have emphasized their focus on controls and optimization, adapting the game for a wide variety of devices and equipping it with a customizable touch interface. Controller support is included, and players will also be able to use a keyboard and mouse on iPadOS and Android. Compatible devices will feature gyroscopic aiming. Visually, Tomb Raider will retain a AAA quality reminiscent of the 2010s, while preset options will allow players to choose between stable performance and enhanced graphics.

The narrative follows a young Lara Croft, who has yet to become the formidable tomb raider known to fans and is even afraid of animals. The protagonist finds herself shipwrecked on the shores of the forgotten Yamatai island during her first archaeological expedition. Stranded without gear or support, she must survive, unravel the island’s mysteries, and escape a deadly trap filled with hostile natives and perilous challenges.

It’s worth noting that earlier this month, fans of «Tomb Raider» received another exciting announcement. Amazon Game Studios and Crystal Dynamics revealed two new projects in the franchise: a remake of the original Tomb Raider titled Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and a new installment in the series called Tomb Raider: Catalyst.
