Monad анонсирует запуск мейннета и токена MON с аирдропом для 225,000 пользователей Translation: Monad announces mainnet launch and MON token with airdrop for 225,000 users.

The launch of the mainnet for the EVM-compatible layer one blockchain Monad, along with its native token MON, is scheduled for November 24th.

An airdrop for early users is anticipated to coincide with the launch. Tokens will be distributed among 225,000 users who have successfully passed the sybil check. The portal for minting MON was opened in mid-October.

Eligible recipients include active community members, traders with significant trading volumes on decentralized exchanges like Hyperliquid, long-term holders of certain NFT collections, contributors, and developers.

Team members from Monad Foundation and Category Labs will not participate in the distribution.

The official tokenomics for MON has yet to be released. However, perpetual pre-market contracts for the coin are already available on Hyperliquid. At the time of writing, the price stands at $0.05 with a daily trading volume of $4.3 million. The open interest has reached $10.6 million.

Launched in 2022, the project aims to compete with Solana and Ethereum. Throughout two funding rounds, it has raised over $240 million.

The Monad team launched a public testnet in February 2025, asserting a high network throughput of up to 10,000 TPS and a block processing time of one second.

In July, the Monad Foundation acquired Portal Labs, which is responsible for developing the infrastructure platform for stablecoins known as Portal.
