Monad запускает клейм токена MON для более чем 235 000 пользователей Translation: Monad launches MON token claim for over 235,000 users.

The EVM-compatible Layer 1 platform Monad has launched a portal for claiming its native token, MON, with the claiming period open until November 3.

According to the outlined criteria, during the airdrop, the project team will distribute tokens to over 235,500 users, including:

Employees of Monad Foundation and Category Labs will not partake in the distribution. A snapshot was taken on September 30.

MON tokens will be available following the Token Generation Event (TGE), which will coincide with the mainnet launch. The exact date remains undisclosed.

Perpetual contracts for the coin are already accessible on Hyperliquid. At the time of this writing, the price stands at $0.07, with a daily trading volume of $5.9 million and an open interest of $7.7 million.

In the lead-up to the MON claiming launch, malicious actors posted scam ads with phishing links in the official Monad Announcements channel, as reported by co-founder Keone Hong.

“Telegram places ads in specific public channels. Scammers purchased ads in Monad Announcements. It’s astonishing that the messenger allows the promotion of content that should only feature information from one side. We are actively working to remove all of this,” he expressed.

It’s worth noting that the platform developers launched a public testnet back in February.

In July, Monad Foundation acquired Portal Labs, the company behind the infrastructure platform for stablecoins, further enhancing its capabilities.
