Netflix Greenlights Animated Series Adaptation of Crash Bandicoot

In recent years, Netflix has significantly increased its production of series based on popular video game franchises. It seems that the beloved franchise Crash Bandicoot might soon be added to this list, according to sources from the website What’s On Netflix.

Initial reports suggest that the upcoming animated series has been assigned to WildBrain Studios, the team behind Sonic Prime. However, representatives from WildBrain quickly responded, stating that this information is not accurate.

It’s important to note that nothing has been officially announced yet, so one should approach the insiders’ claims with skepticism. Details about the proposed series remain scarce, including information about showrunners or potential voice actors.

Interestingly, this wouldn’t be Crash’s first appearance on television—previously, the character had a guest role in TeamTO’s «Heaven Academy.» In the first season, he was voiced by Eric Rogers, while Rhys Darby took on the role in the second and third seasons.
