New Gameplay Insights and Screenshots for Gang of Dragon: The Latest Crime Action Title from Yakuza Creator

A couple of weeks ago at the award ceremony for The Game Awards 2025, the former head of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and creator of the Yakuza series, Toshihiro Nagoshi, revealed his new game—a crime action title called Gang of Dragon, featuring Ma Dong-seok in the lead role. Following the release of the debut trailer, the developer shared new screenshots of the project.

The relatively young team behind Gang of Dragon is called Nagoshi Studio, which was established in 2021 under the umbrella of NetEase. In addition to Nagoshi, the team includes several other veterans from SEGA and Square Enix.

The primary setting for the game will be Kabukichō, the infamous red-light district of Tokyo, which also inspired the setting of Kamurocho in Yakuza. Details about the plot remain scarce at this stage. However, it is known that Ma Dong-seok will portray a high-ranking member of a Korean crime syndicate. In terms of gameplay, the developers promise a third-person action experience that includes hand-to-hand combat, shooting mechanics, and vehicular action.

There is currently no release date for Gang of Dragon. As of now, the game is only confirmed for PC (Steam) and will not feature a Russian localization.
