Open Beta Testing of No Rest for the Wickeds Cooperative Patch Extended Until January 5th

Today was supposed to mark the end of the open beta testing for the cooperative patch of No Rest for the Wicked, which began on December 18. Given the short duration, many players requested that the developers at Moon Studios extend the beta. Fortunately, they listened to the community’s wishes.

As a result, the testing phase for the update named Together will now remain open until January 5, 2026. «So if you missed the test, want to spend more time in the game, or wish to showcase it to friends and family during the Christmas and New Year holidays, you now have that opportunity,» stated the team. Additionally, Moon Studios noted that they received a plethora of positive feedback during the beta.

The patch can be accessed via the game’s beta branch. To switch to it, follow these steps:

Save files in the beta version are separate from the main build, so you’ll need to start a new game in the beta. However, for this reason, your old saves and progress will remain unaffected once the testing concludes.

It’s worth mentioning that this update introduces cooperative gameplay for up to four players in No Rest for the Wicked. Moreover, it enhances the weapon system, improves the AI understanding of player positioning, introduces shared loot, and allows friendly fire in co-op, among other features. The full update will be available for all users on January 22.

Currently, No Rest for the Wicked is in early access on Steam. The action RPG will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series alongside the official game release. A text translation into Russian is also available.
