Pocketpair Unveils Card Game Inspired by Palworld Amid Ongoing Pokémon Controversy

It seems that the team at Pocketpair enjoys provoking Nintendo. The studio has unveiled a collectible card game based on Palworld, which, as a reminder, is currently embroiled in legal disputes related to alleged copycat elements from Pokémon.

This new project, developed in collaboration with Bushiroad, is titled the Palworld Official Card Game and is set for release on July 30, 2026. It’s a two-player card game where players will engage in tactical battles by summoning various Pals to the battlefield.

Gameplay in this collectible card game draws inspiration from its source material: gamers will fight alongside their loyal creatures, gather resources, and build defenses on their path to victory. Each Pal features unique abilities that can help overcome opponents.

As of now, Pocketpair has yet to announce the price for the Palworld Official Card Game or provide further details about the cards. More information will be shared in the future. Additionally, the creators of Palworld are still working on a farming simulator titled Palworld: Palfarm. More details about the game can be found in this article.
