Rune Predicts 2025 US Open Final Will Feature Alcaraz and Sinner Again

Danish tennis player Holger Rune, currently ranked 11th in the world, has suggested that the final of the 2025 US Open could see a rematch between Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Italy’s Jannik Sinner. He also noted that Serbian player Novak Djokovic and German Alexander Zverev could be potential contenders for the main event.

«Winning Grand Slam tournaments is really challenging. It’s likely that the final will again feature Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. Besides them, only Novak Djokovic or Alexander Zverev have a chance to win,» Rune stated, as reported by Ekstra Bladet.

It is worth mentioning that the finals at Wimbledon 2025 and the French Open 2025 were contests between Sinner and Alcaraz. For Djokovic, the US Open presents a chance to claim his 25th Grand Slam title, while for Zverev, it would be his first career title at a Grand Slam.
