Russian Boxers Performance Highlights from the Round of 16 at the 2025 World Championships in Dubai

Up to 48 kg: Edmond Khudoyan won by unanimous decision (5:0) against Botswana’s Kobamelo Molatlegi.
Up to 60 kg: Vsevolod Shumkov lost by unanimous decision (0:5) to Ethiopia’s Haymanot Zebdu.
Up to 67 kg: Evgeny Kool won by knockout in the first round against Guinea-Bissau’s Mateus Barbosa Da Costa.
Up to 75 kg: Ismail Mutsolgov lost by unanimous decision (0:5) to Germany’s David Stepp.
Up to 80 kg: Jambulak Bijamov won by split decision (4:1) against Kazakhstan’s Erasyl Zhakpekov.
Up to 92 kg: Muslin Gadzhimagomedov won by unanimous decision (5:0) against Cambodia’s Abdullah Rajapov.
Over 92 kg: David Surov won by unanimous decision (5:0) against French Polynesia’s Yannick Putoua.
