World champion and Russian judoka **Arman Adamyan** claimed the gold medal in the final of the Grand Slam tournament in the under-100 kg category, which is taking place in Abu Dhabi (UAE). In the decisive match, he triumphed over his compatriot **Idar Bifov**.

The bronze medals were awarded to **Nikoloz Sherazadishvili** from Spain and **Leonardo Gonçalves** from Brazil.

Earlier, Russian athlete Ayub Bliev achieved victory in the Grand Slam final, defeating Mongolian competitor Ariunbold Enkhtaiwan in the decisive bout of the under-60 kg category.

The competitions in Abu Dhabi marked the first event following the decision to restore the Russian national flag and anthem for its judokas. The International Judo Federation’s executive committee delivered a favorable verdict concerning the Russian team.
