Siakam on the Pacers: Our Shift Will Start When Losing Becomes Unacceptable

The forward and team leader of the NBA’s Indiana Pacers, **[Pascal Siakam](https://example.com)**, shared his thoughts on the current state of his team, which has won six out of 31 games.

«When we reach the point where losing is simply unacceptable, that’s when we will start to make progress. As long as we step onto the court each day thinking, ‘Oh well, we lost again, it doesn’t really matter,’ we will keep sinking further.

I don’t believe we can climb out of this hole until losing truly hurts us when we go home. If it doesn’t matter, we’ll just come in, do the same things, and lose night after night. It becomes a matter of indifference. I don’t like that feeling at all. If we don’t make a decision to change this, nothing will improve. It’s up to us to turn things around.

No one is going to feel sorry for us. We can’t blame the schedule. The day we decide we’re tired of this will be the day we start moving forward,” Siakam was quoted by Yahoo Sports.
