Publisher **Devolver Digital** and developer **Sam Eng** have revealed that the adventure game **Skate Story** will be released on December 8 for PC and consoles.

In **Skate Story**, you assume the role of a demon from hell, with a body made of pain and glass. The Devil grants you a skateboard on one condition: you must skate to the moon and consume it to gain your freedom. To achieve this, you’ll need to master ollies, kickflips, and grinds while navigating the ashen lands and tackling nearly impossible tasks. Controlling your weight and executing precise movements will be crucial for successful tricks, all while the beauty of the otherworldly realm accompanies your every slide.

Players will be able to gain speed, defeat demons, assist a forgetful frog, and rescue tormented souls. To conquer the devil, you’ll have to learn humility, persistence, and skateboarding skills—all with just one skateboard.

**Skate Story** features skating through nine circles of hell, filled with varied streets and surreal landscapes brimming with ledges, abysses, and demons. Players can explore the world, create their own challenges, and enhance their board skills—with over 70 tricks available. Leveling up, acquiring new gear, and completing challenges will serve as rewards for your mastery.

The game is accompanied by a psychedelic soundtrack from the New York band Blood Cultures, along with tracks by **John Fio**, creating a hypnotic atmosphere amid the demonic streets.

You can grind the hellish concrete in **Skate Story** on PC (available on [Steam](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1263240/Skate_Story/)), PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. Currently, only the English localization is confirmed. For interested skaters, the developers have prepared a demo version.
