Stanislav Cherchesov Names Russian Coaches Ready to Take on International Challenges

The head coach of Grozny’s «Akhmat,» **Stanislav Cherchesov**, has identified Russian coaches who could potentially work abroad. Cherchesov himself has experience managing in Hungary with «Ferencváros» and Poland’s «Legia,» winning domestic championships with both clubs.

«Firstly, we already have coaches working abroad, albeit not in Europe, but in China, such as Leonid Slutsky. Moreover, there are plenty of capable coaches here who could succeed. They are not just trainers; many of them have also played football internationally. For instance, Rashid Rakhimov, Sergey Semak, and Andrey Talalaev have all competed overseas. A player’s experience can significantly benefit a coach’s work, as it allows you to sense certain situations that cannot be found in any book,» Cherchesov’s remarks were quoted by TASS.

It’s worth noting that Cherchesov took the helm at «Akhmat» in early August of this year, prior to which he served as the head coach of the Kazakhstan national team.
