Stellar Blade 2 Set to Launch as a Multi-Platform Action Game

The South Korean studio Shift Up is actively working on the sequel to the acclaimed Stellar Blade, and indications suggest that the new title will be multi-platform at launch. This information comes directly from the developers on their official website.

Recently, the studio posted job openings for new team members who will contribute to Stellar Blade 2. In a fresh announcement, Shift Up described the project as a «next-generation multi-platform action game,» set to launch on PC and unspecified consoles.

It’s worth noting that the original Stellar Blade was initially available only on PlayStation 5, before being released on PC a year after its debut. Following the PC version’s release, the studio began discussions regarding potential ports to other current platforms, which has likely influenced the production of Stellar Blade 2.

For now, players will have to wait for a comprehensive announcement. The sequel is expected to be unveiled relatively soon, as official reports suggest its release is planned for no later than 2027.
