Streaming Access Restored for All Users on Pump.fun Platform

The developers at Pump.fun have opened streaming access for all users of the platform.

On April 4, a limited group of 5% of users was given the opportunity to stream in advance. At that time, the developers released a new set of content guidelines and moderation rules that align with industry standards.

The stricter regulations are aimed at addressing «problematic» content, which was the reason for the suspension of live streams on the platform in November 2024.

Many users, frustrated by the earlier streaming shutdown, welcomed the return of this feature. However, some members of the community expressed their discontent with the decision.

*“Did we not learn anything from last time? You guys are a real pain,”* commented one user.

Some speculated that without «controversial» streams, token promotion would not be as successful.

*“If people aren’t hurting themselves on air, there will be no hype,”* concluded another commenter.

As a reminder, in March, the total trading volume on PumpSwap, a decentralized exchange developed by the “meme token factory” Pump.fun, *exceeded* $1.2 billion within a week of its launch.
