Tapology Playfully Promises to Investigate Khabib Nurmagomedovs Early Fights

The well-known statistical website Tapology playfully responded to a user’s concerns who presented a table detailing the first 16 fights in the career of Khabib Nurmagomedov (from 2008 to 2011), pointing out that many of his early opponents had zero or negative records.

“Why don’t you stop portraying yourself in a ridiculous light with Michael Morales and instead look into Khabib Nurmagomedov’s first 16 fights?” the user asked on social media platform X.

In reply, Tapology’s official account stated: “Great suggestion. We’ll send our team to Agvali, Dagestan, and start asking some tough questions about who allowed a fight in August 2009 between Khabib, who had a record of 4-0, and Eldar Eldarov, who was 1-0. Because that’s pure nonsense. We’ll update you on the findings soon.”

This response alludes to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s own phrase “Number one bullshit.” In reality, the practice of facing less experienced opponents early in a fight career is common among many emerging fighters worldwide.
