Tatiana Tarasova congratulates Trusova and Ignatov on the birth of their son

Renowned coach of the USSR, **[Tatiana Tarasova](https://example.com/tags/28539-tatjana-tarasova/)**, extended her congratulations to Olympic silver medalist from the 2022 Beijing Games, **Alexandra Trusova (Ignatova)**, and figure skater **Makar Ignatov** on the birth of their child.

“I am incredibly happy for her! Sasha and Makar have done wonderfully! Wishing them a long and joyful life together, and good health for the baby,” Tarasova expressed during an interview with Championship correspondent Ilya Nikulnikov.

This marks the first time that Alexandra Trusova (Ignatova) and Makar Ignatov have become parents. The couple tied the knot in August 2024, following a proposal made by the skater in June 2024. The proposal took place in St. Petersburg against the backdrop of a raised bridge, and they celebrated their wedding in August of the same year.
