Tim Cain Returns to Obsidian: Fallout Co-Creator Rejoins the Game Development World

Veteran game developer Tim Cain has officially made his return to the gaming industry, rejoining Obsidian Entertainment not in a remote capacity but rather on-site at their office. He shared this news on his YouTube channel.

Key highlights from the video:

As a reminder, Tim Cain was one of the key figures behind the original Fallout and served as the designer for its sequel. In the early 2000s, he co-founded Troika Games, where he notably programmed the cult classic RPG Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. In 2011, he took a position at Obsidian as a senior programmer, contributing to projects like Pillars of Eternity and The Outer Worlds, where he even held the role of co-director for the latter. However, Cain departed from the company in 2020.
