Tsunoda Reflects on Season with Red Bull: I Gave It My All

Japanese Formula 1 driver **[Yuki Tsunoda](https://www.example.com/tags/30129-juki-cunoda/)** from Red Bull reflected on his season with the Austrian team.

«Today, I really pushed myself to score points, and I believe we had the potential to achieve that, but the penalty made things difficult. We opted for a different strategy and were performing well until the battle with Lando. I tried to hold him off, but he was quite fast, and in the end, I received an unfortunate penalty. Once I entered the second segment, overtaking became quite challenging. Looking back at this year, I realize I gave it my all.

There were many moments this season when I needed a bit of luck to turn things around, but that’s part of motorsport.

I sincerely congratulate Lando—he has been exceptional all year and drove brilliantly today, securing his first title. Additionally, I want to congratulate Max on his race win and outstanding season. He and his team worked incredibly hard to compete until the very end, even when the outcome didn’t favor them. He is the best driver on the grid; witnessing his work ethic and how he capitalizes on every opportunity truly shows his excellence, and his mindset is incredibly inspiring. I’d like to express my gratitude to the engineers, mechanics, and the entire team for this season, and I will still be here next season, so this isn’t a real goodbye,» Tsunoda’s words were quoted by the team’s press service.
