UFC Rankings Updated: Adesanya Falls Out of Top 5 for the First Time Since 2019

The UFC’s press office has released updated rankings following the recent UFC Fight Night 262 event held in Vancouver, Canada.

American fighter **Brendan Allen** climbed to the fifth spot in the rankings after defeating **Ryan de Ridder**, causing the Dutchman to drop to eighth place. Additionally, in the middleweight division, **Anthony Hernandez** moved former UFC champion, Nigerian **Israel Adesanya**, out of the top five for the first time since spring 2019, surprisingly doing so without having won a recent fight.

It is also noteworthy that Canadian fighter **Mike Mallott** has entered the top 15 of the welterweight division, securing the final position in the rankings after winning a unanimous decision against American **Kevin Holland**.

In the bantamweight category, Canadian **Aymann Zahabi** rose to seventh place after winning a closely contested split decision against Ecuadorian **Marlon Vera**.
