Unique Puzzle Experience: CASSETTE BOY Set to Release on January 15, 2026

Announcement video for the release date of CASSETTE BOY.

Publishers **Pocketpair Publishing** and **Forever Entertainment**, in collaboration with **Wonderland Kazakiri**, have officially revealed the launch date for **CASSETTE BOY**. This puzzle-RPG with action elements will be available on PC and consoles starting January 15, 2026.

The gameplay of **CASSETTE BOY** revolves around the concept of «only what is seen exists.» The developers drew inspiration from a famous quote attributed to **Albert Einstein**: *“Do you really think the Moon exists only when you are looking at it?”* In the world of **CASSETTE BOY**, objects and creatures vanish the moment they go out of view, which forms the basis of all challenges.

Players will explore a pixelated world that initially appears flat but is, in fact, three-dimensional. Progression requires players to rotate the map, shift perspectives, and control what remains on the screen. Hide an obstacle behind a wall, and it ceases to exist. Move the camera, and you might reveal a secret passage or eliminate an unnecessary object.

**CASSETTE BOY** goes beyond mere puzzles; players will also need to gather weapons, battle monsters, and face off against bosses.

PC gamers (via [Steam](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2334330/CASSETTE_BOY/)), as well as Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch owners, will have the opportunity to tackle brainteasers and fight pixelated foes in **CASSETTE BOY**. There will not be a Russian language version for the game, but a [demo version](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2872970/CASSETTE_BOY_Demo/) is already available for players to try out.
