Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodhunt Servers Set to Shut Down in Spring 2026

The Swedish studio Sharkmob has officially announced the closure date for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt. This game, a failed battle royale set in the World of Darkness universe, launched in early access in the fall of 2021 and transitioned to a full release in the spring of 2022. Although it received positive feedback from players, it struggled to attract a large audience, leading to the suspension of its content support in May 2023.

Despite the game’s decline, players continued to enjoy matches on the active servers. However, with the total number of players reaching a record low, the developers have announced that the servers will be shut down on April 28, 2026.

Up until that date, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt will remain available on both PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5. Meanwhile, Sharkmob is still hard at work on the extraction shooter Exoborne, which has reportedly encountered some difficulties during production.
