Wylsacom to Goalkeeper Role for Amkal in Russian Cup Debut

The well-known tech blogger and president of the media club «Egrisi,» **Valentin Wylsacom Petukhov**, announced that he will play as a goalkeeper for «Amkal» in the Fonbet Cup of Russia.

«I’m actually the goalkeeper for ‘Amkal’ in the Russian Cup. Tomorrow, I’ll undergo a comprehensive medical examination,» he stated in a video shared on the Egrisi Telegram channel. «I’ll probably occupy half of the goal (laughs), so you won’t score anything past me.»

«Amkal» will face «Kvant» from Obninsk in the first round of the regional path of the Russian Cup for the 2025/2026 season. The match is scheduled for Tuesday, August 5.

As a reminder, last season «Amkal» defeated «BrokeBoys» (2:0) and became the winner of the Media League for the first time in its history.
