Canyons: Cooperative Shooter from Breathedge Creators Unveils Gameplay Trailer

The creators of the survival game Breathedge from RedRuins Softworks are working on a cooperative action game named Canyons. With the support of publisher HypeTrain Digital, they’ve released a brief video featuring gameplay footage.

The developers outline the game’s premise as follows:

In Canyons, up to four players can join forces in cooperative play. The team will need to clear procedurally generated locations. During downtime from expeditions, players can establish a base in caves, building a shipyard for vehicle construction, a weapons workshop, a dining area serving zombie burgers, and other necessary infrastructure.

Players will not only battle enemies but also face tough decisions. What should you do with a poor soul dying of thirst? Take him with you, give him water, rob him… or even eat him? Your choices will impact your moral standing.

Various factions have made their home in the canyons, and they will respond to your actions and moral character. Building relationships with the locals can be beneficial—rewarding you with valuable gear.

Canyons will be available on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5. The release date will be announced later, and support for the Russian language is confirmed.
